🍷 Cheers to the spring season with Quinta da Alorna Reserve. 🍷
A red wine native to the Ribatejo region, the grapes from the Charneca area come from 35-year-old vines harvested separately.
The wine has an intense purple colour. Touriga Nacional, Portugal's finest varietal, gives aromas of violets and blackcurrants, while the Cabernet Sauvignon adds a hint of ripe.
They undergo cold pellicular maceration for two days before alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts.
The two varieties aged independently for 12 months in second and third use American and French oak barrels. The oak adds further complexity, is well balanced in the mouth round and with nice smoothness, this wine has excellent length.
A must-have to add to your cellar this season. 🌸
