Description:
A premium version of Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey, Gentleman Jack exhibits impressive complexity and flavor. The main difference is that it enjoys a 'double mellowing' as it's filtered through charcoal both before being filled into the barrel (the Lincoln County Process) and before it's bottled. Gentleman Jack is full-bodied with fruit and spices, and its finish is silky, warm, and pleasant.

Nose:
Spicy nose with caramel, charred oak and a little aniseed.

Palate:
Liquorice-led palate with oak and cinnamon, a touch of banana too.

Finish:
Roasty and toasty finish, plenty of spice and citrus too.

The Spice Road is one of three Johnnie Walker releases from their Explorer's Club Collection, originally released for the Travel Retail market. As you might expect from the name, this is an enjoyably spicy whisky, packed with cinnamon and nutmeg notes.

Nose:
Nutmeg and clove arrive first, before notes of tropical fruit and apricot develop.

Palate:
Allspice, cinnamon and raisins, with a very subtle whisper of smoke hiding in the background. Vanilla grows along the way.

Finish:
Red chilli on the finish.
