To our valued customers

My mom started this business more than 40 years ago but now it has come to an end. We regret to inform you that we at Mina's sari-sari store decided to shut down our business permanently. This decision was not easy, but because of the pandemic and high inflation we cannot sustain our profit margin any longer.

We would like to thank every patrons & neighbor who walked into our store over the years and became part of our life.

Mga mare at pare nag iisip pa rin ba kayo ng inyong lulutuin para sa tanghalian? Worry no more dahil ibabahagi namin sa inyo ang mga recipes na tiyak magugustuhan nyo. Para sa una nating lutuin, makakasama natin ang Maggi Magic Sarap

Oyster Glazed Chicken

Ingredients:

1 kg chicken drumstick and wings
1 sachet MAGGI MAGIC SARAP®
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 liter vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 pc small onion, minced
1 pc thumb-size ginger, minced
1 pc red chili, sliced (optional)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 cup water
1/4 cup MAGGI® OYSTER SAUCE
1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
2 tbsp sliced spring onion

Procedure:

1. Season chicken with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP® and pepper. Coat chicken pieces with flour and set aside for 10 minutes.
2. Preheat oil in a wok and fry chicken until golden brown. Strain and set aside in a cooling rack to drain excess oil.
3. Remove oil from the wok leaving 2 tbsp. Sauté, garlic, onion, ginger, red chili and sugar for 2 minutes. Pour water and MAGGI Oyster Sauce. Simmer until thick.
4. Toss in fried chicken pieces, sesame seeds and spring onion. Transfer into a serving plate and serve immediately.
