UA-Display Center warmly welcomes Director General Jeremy Barns of the National Museum and the staff of Western Visayas National Museum.

Mr. Barns enjoyed his visit together with Mrs. Rhoda Pon-an, a representative from the Office of Congressman AA Legarda, Provincial Tourism Staff, and Western Visayas National Museum staff as they discussed the status of the National Museum in our province.

"Oh, I really enjoyed sitting here; it's nice, very comfortable, and so relaxing." Mr. Barns said.

He also added that it would be nice if the National Museum had a space for engineered bamboo chairs.

The creativity of kasubay, patiently crafted, produces extraordinary masterpieces, showcasing the talents of the Antiqueños.

Provincial Librarian visited Balay Subay on November 22.

Ma'am Grace Magullado bought 5 pieces of mug coaster at the UA Display Center. She mentioned that she was part of UA faculty as University Librarian and proud that the institution has achieved a tremendous progress in promoting its bamboo industry.

Balay Subay welcomed the Kasubays from BS Hospitality Management of University of Antique Main Campus on their educational tour on November 16.

kasUbAys are happy and proud of what the University of Antique has produced from food products to engineered bamboo. They witness how simple bamboo makes high-class products that can compete across the world.

University of Antique Display Center welcomed guests and artists of Visayas Island Visual Artist Exhibition and Conference or VIVA EXCON 2023 from various organizations and countries on November 8 – 10 at Antique Old Capitol.

The 17th Edition of VIVA ExCon took place in the towns of San Jose and Sibalom, with the theme “Suba sa Iraya” marked its 33rd year.

Mrs. Norma Javellana, the visionary founder of Paranublion Kinaray-a, expresses profound delight in witnessing the remarkable and creative artworks, as well as the innovative ideas of the Antiqueños showcased through the medium of engineered bamboos.

Adding to the international flavor, the event drew the admiration of Japanese students who took the time to visit. Their amazement at the products on display serves as a testament to the universal appeal and quality of the creations.

Balay sUbAy welcomes Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Commissioner Matthew "Fritz" Gaston at the UA display center located at the Old Capitol ground floor last November 4, 2023.

After attending the grand opening of the Antique Athletic League Tournament at the University of Antique, Commissioner Gaston visited the display center and he was amazed at the creativity and how skillfully the kasUbAys are in their engineered bamboo. He also expresses his joy for this initiative.
