New Shipment of Regenyei Swords being shipped this week.

Last lot got gobbled up fairly quickly. I wish I had ordered more Feders as I think those two will get sold super quick.

HF Armory has just released version 2.0 of this glove and I was lucky enough to nab part of the first shipment.

Here is what HF has to say about what's changed

"Our goal was to improve quality of gloves, make it more comfortable, more protected and less bulky. Also, tried to save affordable price and make more comfortable palm cover, for best grip of weapon."

They do feel more snug and the palm has more grip. A slight improvement from the previous model. However, I wouldn't replace mine just for the sake of getting the newer model. But, When my pair does wear out I will replace them with the new model.

The new model does come with a price increase

I will be discontinuing the older model and while they run out they'll be a 10% discount on them which will automatically be added to your cart. The Medium's are already all gone.

See some of you at the SHMT in Auckland this Weekend, and if you want me to bring anything let me know ASAP.

Hello everyone,

Just a quick update to say thank you to those who have already made purchases from our online store. I’ve invested over $10k in stock, which means I can continue to expand the product range.

Exciting news! I have the much-anticipated Black Knight Gloves from HF Armory arriving soon, along with 18 Regenyei swords in three different types. These are due to arrive around June-July, so keep an eye out for them.

Some of you have inquired about cheaper fencing masks, but I won't be offering them. Safety is my top priority, and investing in good quality gear is essential to protect your head during sparring. Cheaper masks can get damaged within a few rounds, which is not worth the risk. Good masks and gloves are where you should start, and there is a range of top-quality options available.

I always welcome feedback and suggestions on how I can be involved in improving and growing HEMA in New Zealand. Please feel free to get in touch and let me know your thoughts.

Just received the first shipment of the PBT Warrior Masks.

The mask extends further around the Head to protector the back of the head more.

I've been doing Reenactment / HEMA for over 20 years now. I've always struggled to get gear from overseas. You either need to do a large order as a group or accept you are a paying a ton in shipping, let alone the time it takes to finally get it.

This can put off new enthusiast and make it hard for clubs to grow. I aim to help reduce that by holding stock of the commonly required gear needed for HEMA.

The small margin I add to products (Which usually I get from buying in bulk) will go towards expanding the range.

PBT Historical and Historical Fencing Armory are happy for me to stock there items. If there is a brand you think is worth keeping please throw me a PM.

My first selection of goods will be Masks and Gloves (the most essential gear required). I'd love to expand into swords from reputable manufactures around the glove (Regenyei, Black Fencer, Castille, ect). Gambeson will likely be the last product I get into as they usually require fitting.

This is purely a passion project with the aim to improve HEMA in New Zealand.
