Today (Wednesday) and Friday...

Lucas from Del Mundo will uncork ‘Audace’ from 'Chateau Carmenere', North of Bordeaux, Medoc as well as their Gran Vin and other wines by the coravin.
Audace is made out of 100% carmenere and aged in new French oak for an impressive 42 months.
A very aromatic wine with notes of Sichuan pepper, liquorice, smoked, with mastered power and sufficient length.
Only 500 bottles produced every year and 22 bottles available in stock!

BIG THANKS to my amazing helpers today - Robyn and Eliza! New shelves for all the deli & treats and they've arranged it all and rearranged our Christmas displays. Now bagging and bowing for some pressies, very thankful for these wonderful ladies 🥰 AND to my amazing David for building those shelves last night. And especially for adding an extra shelf to our international shelves. No action photos, but let's just assume it all went as calm as his pic looks😉

We have some amazing tastings lined up for you this week...

In store we have Lucas from Del Mundo on Wednesday and Friday pouring some amazing wines from France, Spain and Italy.

Also on Friday we will be joined by the Firkin Whiskey Co pouring a range of Single Malt Scotch.

And on Saturday we'll be teaming up with Maison Vauron and Alliance Française Palmerston North to present an amazing tasting of Beaujolais wines (with cheese) to celebrate Beaujolais Day, the third Thursday of November! Tickets are $35 per person!
