Impression of our visit today to Bolomey’s Grote Salon, the annual tasting event of at in Amsterdam.

Bolomey is one of the importers we work with specializing in biodynamic and natural wines and we always love their clean and elegant style.

Many winemakers were present and it was such a pleasure to meet them in person and to hear their stories.

On Saturday the 2nd of November we will continue with our tasting series “Meet the Importers” where we invite an importer we work with and ask them to bring a selection of their portfolio for you to taste.The tasting will be free of charge and you can join anywhere you like between 14:00 and 17:00.

This time Laurens Bagnalasta will join us! Laurens is born and raised in Rotterdam and founder of Lolo Vins.

Laurens’ journey into wine importing is deeply rooted in his hands-on experience in the vineyards of southern France. After the harvest in 2021, he developed a deep passion for winemaking, particularly inspired by his time working with Alexandre Coulange and Astrid Lerouxel. These two winemakers are active members of Les Vin S.A.I.N.S (“Sans Aucun Intrant Ni Sulfite” – meaning no inputs or sulfites added to any of their wines). Their approach of creating zero-input wines captivated Laurens, setting him on a path to focus on importing similar natural wines.

His exploration led him to other influential winemakers, such as Pierre Rousse and Jean-marc Dreyer , whose practices of producing wines without any additives or sulfites solidified Laurens’ decision to specialize in zero-zero wines. For him, natural wines start in the vineyard, and the absence of sulfites is essential to preserving the wine’s unique energy and vibrancy, which he believes is lost when any inputs are added. This philosophy fuels Laurens’ passion for promoting and selling natural wines.
