Pinot Noir Day

They don’t call it the Heartbreak grape for nothing.

It gets its nickname from the fact that it has a very thin skin that easily breaks making it susceptible to disease and genetic mutation. Its fragility makes it a fickle grape to work with posing a challenge to any keen winemaker.

But when done right and treated with the correct care, magic happens!

The mistress is a fitting name for this fickle but
delicious wine, with ripe tannins and an intense cherry and plum note.
