We held off on getting batch no. 031 moving for as long as we possibly could. That means that 4 out of 5 our beer selections for March were canned at the end of last week, so they’ll be arriving with you as fresh as they can be.

Putting everything together with the brewery behind our latest drop us got us really excited for this month’s feature. Whilst it’s always insightful and interesting to talk to the founders of the breweries we bring you, there are certain occasions where their enthusiasm for the product and the process are palpable – so much so it cannot help but come through in the beers themselves.

Despite being relatively new (founded in 2019), March’s feature brewery is nothing short of prolific. Last year alone they brewed 118 new beers! We’ll be delivering our picks to you on Saturday 2nd March.

Sign-up by midday on Friday to secure your delivery: www.batch.je

batch no. 024 is with us and ready to head out Saturday.

Having asked you to pick your favourite brewery from the last couple of years, we’re very, very pleased to be welcoming back Beak Brewery + Taproom to Jersey for the first time since September 2021. We’ve 5 exceptional selections to share with you in celebration of 2 years of batch.

You can still sign-up to receive batch no. 024 via the link in our bio between now and midnight tomorrow.

Then look away now. Don’t swipe or scrolling was down — just keep scrolling.

To celebrate two years of batch, we asked you to vote for which of our 23 breweries you'd like to see returning to Jersey for our second birthday.
Over five rounds, you whittled the choices down to the final two and it was quite the close-run race.

But in the end, it was batch no. 002's Beak Brewery that won out. And so, at your request, we're bringing them back. We've been super excited to select our beers for this month from these Sussex stalwarts and will be delivering them to you on Saturday 5th August.

Follow the link below to get involved. Those that experienced their brews first time round know they're not be missed.

We couldn’t pass on the opportunity to support an exhibition hosted by the aptly named IPA. And so, yesterday evening we were serving up a range of beers from our feature breweries to guests at the preview opening of Island Photography Exhibition’s ‘Preface’.

Hosted by .je, you’ll find the work of six photographers adorning the cafe walls from now until the 29th July. Pop in and take a look at work from Max Baudains, Max Burnett ( / ), Max Le Feuvre (.lefeuvre), Patrick Cahill, Robbie Dark () and Will Lakeman ().

A big thanks to The Merchant’s for their hospitality and to everyone that joined us for a beer and a chat.

The exceptionally named I Could Get Better At T*sco For A Quid from batch no. 022’s is a fond tribute to one of their earliest beer reviews. In co-founder Sarah’s own words: “Over a few of our beers, a friend encouraged us to log-in and see the latest positive review (which was his!) and instead we were met with this. We won’t lie, it was a blow at the time but we’re owning it now”.

We’re obligated to tell you that this Session Pale Ale is better than any beer you’ll find on the shelves of T*sco at any price, let alone a quid.

Oh la La, a Continental Pale Ale. Elegantly balanced. This lightly floral beer, brilliantly named Bet the Farm, won Best Beer In East Anglia by Ratebeer in 2020 and has a satisfying hoppy, bitter finish and a silky mouth feel. A little like a funky Pilsner.

Tuesday and Another Day Done. This Juicy Pale Ale was fresh off the canning line for when we delivered it, and offers up big bits of tropical fruit aromas.

Crisp and — as the name suggests — juicy, it has a soft bitterness and a refreshingly dry citrus finish.

Look a little closer at the navel and you’ll see Bates and Miranda closing up their Grade II listed brewery after another satisfying day of work.

Light, citrusy and elegant, this Table Beer from is fanatically sessionable.

Utilising just as many hops and liberal amounts of barley as other, bigger beers, End Up still packs in bags of flavour whilst keeping its ABV accessibly low.

This refreshing beer kicks off the 5 beers we showcased as part of batch no. 021 and is the perfect beach brew.

Almost one week on from delivering batch no. 021, we’ve been enjoying our beer selections from May’s feature brewery immensely.

Duration Brewing was founded by Bates and Miranda in 2019, but work of getting it to a point of readiness began a year and a half earlier they set about renovating the historic, Grade II-listed ruin that they now operate from.

Describing themselves as a farmhouse brewery, they call Norfolk home, which makes a lot of sense when you consider their approach. It's a region that really values local produce, and Bates and Miranda take full advantage of this by working with local ingredients and small producers, adding everything from local oysters to grape pomace to recent brews.

We’ve selected a total of five beers from Duration — three from their core range and two experimental brews. All are balanced, elegant and indicative of the team’s beautifully transparent approach.

’s Figures of Paradise is soft in mouthfeel and big on flavour. Thanks to a powerful hop combination of Citra, Galaxy and Centennial, this juicy beer boasts notes of citrus, passion fruit, peach, and lots (and lots!) of mango. Arriving in our archive store imminently.

Who else has been cracking into batch no. 020 this long weekend? We’re really loving ’s fun and delicious beers; they’ve been the perfect accompaniment to what feel like the first few days of Spring.

Founded in 2020 by Ross Shields, Flocs.‘s original home was in Margate. Here Ross spent his days honing and tweaking his recipes on his 100-litre brewing kit. His aim was to brew beer using quality ingredients, but to keep things fun. “We don’t want to be stuffy”, says Shields. “We make the beer we love to drink – fresh, delicious beer; liquid sunshine that makes us smile”.

Today they brew from the cathedral city of Canterbury, attracting modern day pilgrims to their brewery and taproom.

Preparing to drop batch no. 020 tomorrow with one last look in the rear view mirror.

These are two iterations of the same beer from ; same style, same ABV, but different hops. The result is two wonderfully distinct beers.

The one on the left enlists Nelson Sauvin, Centennial and Amarillo hops to create a bright and citrusy IPA, with notes of gooseberry and a beautifully big hit of melon.

The second iteration, on the right, is laden with sweetness and tropical fruits. Azacca and Simcoe hops work together to conjure flavours of mango and apricot.

A fitting end to an excellent month of beers.

A fitting day to crack a Pupa. This juicy pale ale is packed with tropical flavours and has us salivating for summer. Those light citrus notes are grounded by a fuller body and velvety mouthfeel created with the addition of oats.

On a separate note, what’s the consensus? Are we pronouncing it ‘Puh-pah’ or ‘Poo-pah’?

Mantra: a word or sound repeated to aid concentration. This pale ale from batch no. 019’s might not aid focus, but it does deliver bright, citrusy notes of orange and mandarin.

And it’s definitely a beer you’d want a few of in the fridge so you can return to it again and again and again…

batch no. 018: Burnt Mill Brewery.

For February, we headed to Suffolk to bring you beers from . Founded in 2017, it didn’t take long for the team to begin gaining considerable recognition. Indeed, before their second birthday they’d already been awarded the accolade of Best New Brewer in England by RateBeer Awards. More recently head brewer, Sophie de Ronde, was crowned Brewer of the Year by the British Guild of Beer Writers.

One of several elements that make Burnt Mill unique is the fact that de Ronde isn’t able to drink the beer she brews. Intolerant to barley and wheat, brewery founder Charles O’Reily is convinced it’s made for a more collaborative and effective brewing process. With everyone having to become better at identifying flavours and communicating what’s required from each brew, the results have become even more focussed and dialled in.

We’re offering the chance to add something a little special to batch no. 018.

February’s feature brewery is being delivered this Saturday, 4th February. Known for their small-run sours, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to share one of their recent 750ml bottle releases with you.

Beginning with a base beer that was brewed back in 2019, this sour was literally brought to life by the addition of a specially sourced yeast strain and then laid to rest in Châteauneuf-du-Pape barrels until being bottled.
Packed with plenty of oak tannins, funk and vinous characteristics, we have a limited number of this tart and complex sour available to purchase for £20.00 per bottle.

As always, we're giving first dibs to our subscribers – just drop us a message on here or email us, and we'll add one to your delivery on Saturday.

Once they’re gone, they’re gone for good.

This amped-up Radler uses Wheat beer, lager, lemon, lime and grapefruit to make a refreshing brew that’s more than a little tongue-in-cheek.

Spotlighting January’s batch no. 017 and feature brewery . Tomorrow is Burns Night, so we couldn’t think of a more fitting month to introduce you to our first Scottish brewery, made up of four friends with a strong craft pedigree and equally strong views on what constitutes great beer.

We selected 5 brews to showcase. Some, like the Pale Ale, you might have expected. Others, such as the playful Turbo Shandy, you may not have. All are delicious.

Remaining cans from Newbarns are available in our online shop, and sign-ups for batch no. 018 — dropping Saturday 04/02 — are also open.
