"The Last Kiss" pencils on paper
Il 12 maggio 1957 si compie la tragedia di Guidizzolo. Il pilota Alfonso de Portago sta per concludere la Mille Miglia a Brescia, ma non riesce a controllare la sua Ferrari che finisce in un fosso investendo il pubblico che assisteva la gara.
Fu una tragedia, morirono il pilota, il copilota e 9 persone di cui 5 bambini.
Il mio disegno rappresenta Alfonso al volante della Ferrari, Linda Christian che si china per baciarlo leggermente sulle labbra in un ultimo inconsapevole bacio d'addio, tra la folla divertita e curiosa.

Painting in the Streets,,,,9 months after arriving here in, Torino, Italy, we took our art to create in the Festivale Via Tripoli Autumn, 2012, 12 years ago , this week,,,, the quiet American paints in large canvas and bold colors, ,Luisa spoke to our neighbors. They were very lovely and welcoming to my slightly reclusive but prodigeous, intentions.
I was 53 years old, and enjoyed to meet 100s of Real Italian and many other country peoples, in our first public event . we painted every day to bring fresh art and displayed over 1000 paintings, and I created 6 right there in the street, this day reminded me of nearly 6 years painting and selling on the streets of Vero Beach, FLA, USA😁

here is like we were 110F everyday and night for over 60 days straight.
26 june to august .now today i awoke with mathilda to 50F.on our balcony in the pitch black pre sunrise.
that is a change of 60 degrees,,!
never seen weather act like this anywhere ever.

Our Story

Bio,Robert O’Rourke/ RO’R The American Artist

Robert was born in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday 31 May 1958. His family moved many times and he learned many skills and how to use many tools and play musical instruments which he and his brother Eddie learned to play by ear. After many years and many places of music and gigs, Robert decided to teach himself to be an artist and painter. In 1993 he moved to Florida and began his new career by reading and practicing with the pencils inks, watercolours and acrylics paints. Within six months he was exhibiting his original art in public at libraries in June 1994. Robert began to send art and prints to museums and people around the world, including the astronaut, senator John Glenn, actor Paul Newman, world champion Phil Hill, homerun king Hank Aaron, H.R.H. Prince Ranier of Monaco, the National Motor Museum in the United Kingdom, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum, The Ted Williams baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Robert has use his art to raise funds for the American Red Cross, Hospice, and many others to help by using his art. He is continuously involved in these donations each year. In 2009, Robert opened his first Gallery in Vero Beach, Florida. With customers in America and around the world via Internet, his art and prints hang all over the world. In January 2012 Robert moved to Turin, Italy to be with his fiancé, the artist Maria Luisa Pastore. Robert continues his art and his music in this new land and looks for more challenging and creative endeavors which lie ahead.
