One sip is all it takes to realise that the Talinga Park Pinot Noir is truly exceptional. The grapes for this particular wine come from the Riverina - a vineyard not too far from the winery. To retain the natural aromas and delicate flavours, we crush and cold macerate the grapes. They are then left in the cold for several days. Once this process is completed, we yeast the grapes and use the traditional pump over style. The wine is then fermented and left to mature with a French Oak treatment during the primary fermentation phase. Brilliantly red, this Pinot Noir maintains a fragrant bouquet of blood plum, black cherry and allspice. On the palate, these flavours are mixed with a palate of complex earthy, dark fruits and savoury tannins.

It is now the name of Nugan Estate’s range of exceptional wines. From being lean to gorgeous, austere to fruity or short to long-lived, the Cabernet Merlot blend has taken over international markets. Containing both Cabernet Sauvignon as well as Merlot grapes, this wine is deep crimson with youthful purple hues. It is medium-bodied, showcasing rich aromas of ripe red berries and plum. These flavours are then infused with spice, herbs and dark chocolate. On the palate, there is a concentration of blackcurrant and plum. The blend is also said to develop upon ageing.
