This year Molloys Liquor Stores celebrate their 85th Anniversary. What began as selling take-home alcohol from a small hatch in their first pub in Tallaght has now become a chain of 7 off-licences in Dublin and an ecommerce site (www.molloys.ie) which gives you access to their extensive range of exclusive wines, premium spirits and craft beers nationwide.
Walking into a Molloys Liquor Store is like walking into 3 specialist stores under one roof. The wine area consists of many wines from all over the world which Molloys import directly themselves. They call this the Molloys Exclusive Wines range and because these wines are sourced directly from the vineyard, they are able to offer the best possible quality at the keenest prices. They also import their own Champagne and Prosecco so treating yourself is even better value!
On the other side of the shop there is one of the biggest fridges you will ever see stocked full of a vast array of Craft Beers. Molloys are regarded as one of the leading craft beer specialists in Ireland and stock over 400 different beers from all over the world. They work closely with many of the Irish craft breweries to ensure they always have the latest releases and limited edition beers. They even brew their own beer and this year they have teamed up with YellowBelly brewery to brew a beer to celebrate their 85th Anniversary.
As you return to the counter their premium spirit range is illuminated on glass shelving. They stock many premium whiskeys which are hard to find anywhere else and provide the perfect gift for those special occasions. They also have one of the largest ranges of Gin you are likely to find and are constantly sourcing rare gins so that you can find a unique gin for the Gin fanatic in your life!
The only negative about having such a big selection is that it can make the customer’s decision making process harder! Luckily Molloy’s staff are trained to be highly knowledgeable in all areas and are always happy to offer advice. So whether you’re looking for the perfect wine selection for a wedding, or simply a couple of chilled craft beers to compliment your BBQ, Molloys Liquor Stores is the place to go.
