The hours of business in the Post office for Easter W/end are as follows : Friday 29th March 9-1,closing then until Tuesday 2nd April.The office will not be opened on Saturday 30th March(Holy Saturday).All payments due on Friday and Monday of Easter w/end can be collected on Thursday 28th March.All pensions payable on Good Friday can be collected on Thursday also.There will be no postal delivery or collection on Good Friday,29th.

For those in the community who haven’t heard,Peter and myself are retiring from the Shop end of the business,effective from Monday 24thJuly.We would like to thank sincerely the customers who have supported us over the last 35 years ,and my parents,Christy and Josie, for many years prior to that.Thanks also to the many staff who worked with us along that journey,especially Paula for 26 years and Colette for 18years,we could not have managed without your hard work and dedication. Both ladies will continue to work in the shop. We welcome husband and wife,Ali and Ash to Slane.They will take over the shop,and we wish them every success going forward.
