The “AGED” V***e Clicquot Ponsardin Yellow Label Brut NV is a tempting Champagne which is hard to resist nowadays, labelled " Cuvée Hors Commerce (Not for trade)” and was sourced from an astonishing collector who was wise enough to put down the date of release in 1990s on the case, which was very uncommon include the vintage, disgorgement and release dates for a generic non-vintage bottle. This is an absolute joy today, fantastic storage in the last three decades and this rarity has already gained complexity with beautiful tertiary notes.

The Coquard-Loison-Fleurot Bourgogne 2014 has a lovely palate with soft tannins. Red cherries and saline in the month with a pleasing red berry finish. It just does not quite have the complexity but is a nice Bourgogne for dining. Drink now.
