April Fools today but these Rousseau are no joke. The Clos St Jacques 2013 is elegant and well structured, with fresh raspberry flavours and floral notes that showcase the sophistication of a cool vintage. In contrast, the Mazis Chambertin 2011 is bold, with ripe berry aromas complemented by earthy, mineral undertones, delivering remarkable depth and power. They are simply delicious!

We poured half a bottle of the Petrus 1992 into a small decanter to help open up the wine, which proved to be a wise decision. Despite the cooler temperatures that year, the 1992 exhibits a complex array of flavors, including prunes, plums, mint, cedar, earth, and leather, even after 30 years of aging.

This wonderful 1998 Vogue Musigny offers an immersive tasting experience, in fact the bottle ranks among one of the best Vogue we have enjoyed in recent years. Upon opening, the fragrant floral notes immediately indicated its excellent condition. The wine was velvety, powerful, with remarkable concentration and weight. The wine is undoubtedly at its peak, with the flavours of ripe cherries, strawberries, and red plums lingering delightfully on the palate.
