BEER FESTIVAL ALERT!!! Be sure to come by and check this out! Tickets only 5 pounds a session! Cheers!!

This August Bank Holiday sees the return of our beer festival CresFest, our first one since 2018!

This year’s beer will be from a range of breweries in the North East and cider from Orchards of Husthwaite. We’ll have 10 cask lines, 7 keg lines, local cider, and a gin & prosecco bar spread across both bars. We will publish an updated beer list once it is confirmed, so follow us on social media to see the full list when it’s revealed.

For entertainment, we have invited DJs from some of your favourite events at The Crescent, and we will be hosting video games competitions over the weekend, plus an open entry Bar Billiards competition on the Sunday, with prizes for the winners!

Tickets are £3 for each session (Fri Eve, Sat Day, Sat Eve, Sun Day) and include a glass. Head to our website for tickets and more!

LAST FOUR BEERS BEFORE XMAS 🥰🎄

- White Grape Sour. Real white wine vibes but in a sessionable form.. This is absolutely delicious 🥰🍻

- CHAD - Cryo hops, hazy, this sweet and moderately bitter IPA has got some flavour! 🍻

- Cloudburst - Very drinkable yummy hazy pale 🍻

- Nutty Ambassador - Hazelnut Milk Stout 🌰🥜

Some new festive stouts we thought you should know about! 🎄

First of all - beautiful stouts are back!! I've honestly loved everything I've tried from this brewery so if you're a stout lover, you've gotta try these 😍

Peanut Butter & Banana Porter is back 😍 Also 'Strawberries and Cream' sounds absolutely divine too!!

Then we have 'Oblivion' - 13% Imperial Raspberry Stout. Now this is something else. I'll just leave it at that.

Every year 5 million Christmas puddings are thrown away. That's outrageous! We love a beer with purpose and x have done exactly what we want to see around this time - raise awareness about food waste! Don't buy Christmas puddings if you don't like them, buy a beer instead 🎄🥰🍻

New pale ale ✨

This is how decribes this beer: "Juicy and fruity pale ale. Brewed for the coming cost of living crisis, and trying to keep the cost of purchase for venues and customers to a minimum. We aim to try and have this beer available all winter long, because who else is going to help us all out?"

We absolutely love the message behind this beer. Come and try "Pocket Money" - it won't hang around for long as it's absolutely delicious 😍

Urban goose in its natural habitat - on tap at Hop O'Clock 😃🦆

This beer packs so much flavour despite being relatively low ABV.. I personally think it drinks like a 6% at least! It's hazy and hoppy, just your perfect pint of IPA 🍺

🔴‼️BEER TASTING ALERT‼️🔴

The season is soon here (whether you like it or not) 😮‍💨🎄and we have teamed up with our local beeristas for a seasonal tasting event!

We will have Brew York's official beer guide leading the event and he'll bring you ALL THREE of this year's Xmas beers and there will be a barrel aged surprise too 🤤🍻 You will hear everything about the making of these beers, flavours used and barreling process and you will of course be able to ask questions too!

As usual, seats can be reserved by buying a ticket, you can either swing by the shop or message us and arrange payment via Paypal. (Unfortunately we are unable to reserve tickets without arranging a payment) We will also give you updates as the seats fill up. This will be a tasting not to be missed!
