Dear all,
You may have met Sandro as you walked along the river past Petersham and Ham Sea Scouts. He would probably have been chatting to someone whilst making their iced latte or coming up with elaborate strategies to stop the crows from stealing packets of crisps and loaves of bread.
Sandro operated his coffee van from Thursday to Sunday and absolutely loved his place of work. Sadly, Sandro lost a very short battle with cancer last November.
We want to keep his memory alive and Richmond council have agreed to let us have a memorial bench located close to where he worked. We want his family members and those that knew him to be able to sit, and think of him.
Sandro loved meeting people, sharing stories and making great coffee. He touched the hearts of many people he met on the river. Any donations towards our target will be gratefully received.
The bench will be located to the right of Petersham and Ham Sea Scouts river entrance. Just a few feet from where Sandro prepared his coffee.
