Our stylish beer garden houses a mighty pizza oven, and plenty of outdoor seating so you can make the most of the fairer months whilst keeping warm and cosy with our outdoor shelters & heater. Our pizzas are crafted
from freshly-made dough and topped with our in-house tomato base. Our gorgeous artisanal ovens cook all our pizzas from fresh at a scorching 290 degrees. We cater for everyone so we've also got gluten-free and vegan options available too.

This barrel-aged beauty has been resting in Sauternes wine barrels for over 2 years. Notes of vanilla, sweet oak, and marmalade, you'll never guess it's 8.5%!
The limited batch is pouring now, so come grab one while you can! Bottles are ready in our fridges, ready to enjoy at home.

One of our oldest pubs, The Devonshire Arms, is celebrating a big one this Saturday- 125th anniversary!
Tucked amongst the Victorian houses on Dudley Street, The "Devvy", is proudly the biggest seller of cask beer of all our pubs and at the helm- Ronnie & Rebecca, just the 10th Landlord & Landlady since opening in 1899!
This Saturday, 22nd June, pop buy for the best pulled pint in town and enjoy "Music through the ages" between 1 till late.

This golden beauty rested in French oak Sauternes wine barrels for over 2 years before finally hitting our shelf. Notes of sweer oak, vanilla, spice, and will finish crisp and refreshing.
This long anticipated release did not disappoint! We are proud of this mighty beer following our last release of Compass, Chardonnay Barrel Aged Pilsner, which sold out in record time!

These summer days bring in the next seasonal cask release- Shallow Bay!
This easy drinking 3.4% Golden Ale is the perfect complement to the warm summer days and cool nights.
A blend of West Coast American hops provide aromas of orange, grapefruit, and mango with a hint of tropical fruit. Light-bodied and crisp with a clean bitterness that refreshes the palate.
I'm pouring for just June and July, so grab a pint while you can!
Why the name Shallow Bay?
Light and crisp like the tropical Shallow Bays that Charles Wells, our founder, avoided during his adventures in the Merchant Navy. Charles later returned to the UK to marry the love of his life, Josephine, and begin the brewing legacy we know today.

RED DUSTER, 4.3% Red IPA is a perfect balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Pouring copper red, this striking Ale begins with caramel & spice from a mix of rye and specialty barley malts with a hit of zesty citrus, pineapple ans pine aromas.
What's a Red Duster? 🤔
The Red Duster is the civil flag of the United Kingdom and signifies strength and unity. Our founder, Charles Wells, proudly flew this flag on his ship the Devonshire before giving up his career in the Merchant Navy for the love of his life, Josephine Wells.

The newest Taproom Series just tapped! 😲 I Am Gruit, 5.4% Spiced Gruit Citrus, ginger, and juniper, with traces of orange peel and candy floss, this Farmhouse-style spiced Gruit is the latest edition of our taproom series, and definitely one of our most creative! When tasked with brewing a Gruit (old school style in which you brew with no hops), this meant that our brewing calculators had to be thrown out, and our creative brains had to take over. With the 'farmhousey' and 'funky' style of Gruit being the selected style from our Financial Director, Anthony, we used juniper berries and corriander as our bittering charge, with ginger and cardamon in the whirlpool. After a few sips, this will be just the number for some warmer days coming!
