Fun fact: for xmas eve customers, I made 33 scotch eggs and 188 snack balls!

Emily’s Jams & Pickles.

I have achieved the prestigious 5* “Scores On The Doors” award for my home-based business which has been running since 1996. Everything is made by myself, using traditional open pan methods, made in small batches to achieve a fresh and sumptuous product. I produce, from home, a variety of jams, marmalades, chutneys, relishes, mustards, oils, dressings & vinegars; all mustards are sugar free and a selection of chutneys and relishes. Recipes have come from a variety of sources, from endless cookery books, handed down notes, suggestions from friends. I enjoy blending different recipes if I think that the ingredients from one would benefit the other, a good example of this would be the warrior chutney, a fruity, hot chutney, with many layers of flavour, or even altering a method in order to get a really sharp pink grapefruit curd.
