•HOWLER NZ PILSNER 440ml 5.0%
A base of premium Pilsner and Munich malts provides the perfect backdrop to showcase some amazing New World Hop varieties. With a pale golden colour and brilliant clarity having a medium clean hop bitterness coming from hot side additions of Motueka and Riwaka hops. Aromas of tropical fruit, lime, gooseberry, melon and hints of white grapefruit bought on by a dry hop addition of the superstar New Zealand hop Nelson Sauvin.

•MACAQUE WEST COAST IPA 440ml 5.8%
With a beautiful copper orange hue our West Coast India Pale Ale gives a grapefruit and marmalade orange bitterness accompanied by undertones of caramel. Chinook, Mosaic, Citra and Simcoe hops added late on give an aromatic punch of grapefruit and pine.

•SNOW MONKEY 6.3% COLD IPA
The newest beer style on the scene; the idea is to have a super crisp and clean base with which to highlight hops to their fullest, by cold-fermenting IPA with lager yeast. We’ve gone for 3 classic Cs - Cascade, Chinook & Citra - for a zesty grapefruit, spiced pine & lychee buzz.

Easy-drinking, soft pale. It offers a smooth body and a dry finish that allows the juicy flavours to linger on the palate for a satisfying experience.

In this area in Velka Trna you will find 33 portals leading under the ground into small wine cellars. Every year there is a festival when all the portals (doors) are open and you can visit all the winemakers and taste their wine.

On this video is sorting table from Chateau Pontet Canet. I would suggest comparing this video to previous one I posted from Chateau Latour and compare the noise in videos. In Pontet Canet they believe that noise is affecting wines as well so they trying limit it as much as possible! 😉

Our Story

Dunell's is an 'award-winning' independent, family-owned business located in Jersey in the Channel Islands that has been trading for over 120 years. We have 3 shops based in Beaumont, St. Helier and Gorey as well as this full e-commerce website offering free island-wide delivery. We pride ourselves on our extensive range of over 1,700 wines (plus a further 400 trade only wines) from all over the world, our wide range of spirits, liqueurs, beers, lagers, ciders, waters and soft drinks as well as an extensive range of glassware and wine accessories, and our ability to offer our customers personal, friendly advice combined with excellent customer service. Each shop has a 16 bottle 'By the Glass' wine tasting machine offering all our customers the ability to try before they buy, free of charge. There is always an exciting range of wines as well as spirits to try out. Our town shop is located at 37 Hill Street, St Helier and opened in 2011. With an unrivalled selection of 600 different wines from our portfolio of over 1500; craft beers, ciders, spirits and liqueurs as well as a beautiful range of decanters, glassware and gift hampers. There’s parking just 50 metres away at Snow Hill as well as on-street parking right outside. We are open Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm and on Saturdays from 9am - 6pm. You can try before you buy on our 16 bottle tasting machine allowing you find something new with confidence, plus we have a range of chilled wines and Champagnes for your convenience. And of course, we offer a gift-wrapping service too. Erik, our Town Shop Manager looks forward to welcoming you.
