Some exciting exclusive bottles for Xmas! 🥃🌟

This is part of the Manager’s Dram series of whiskies which were available exclusively to employees of Diageo. These whiskies were specially selected by malt distillery managers within Diageo Distilling Ltd and bottled at natural cask strength.

Some unique Discovery bottles from Cask Strength in sherry, bourbon and peat finishes.

I've been busy getting my beer head on selecting some great cans for Xmas and oh boy, did I deliver! 😉🍺 Starting off with a core IPA, Squashy retro sweet inspired beer and a mouthwatering Gobstopper sour. Finishing off with literal rocket fuel with an exclusive limited edition Caramel Macchiato Impy Stout at 10.2%! 🤤🍺

Loose Cannon -
An American IPA loaded with a juggernaut of hops that will send earthquakes crashing through your taste buds. Its strong floral & herbal aromas & sharp grapefruit notes are well balanced by its rich malt base. Its finish is edgy & uncompromising and leaves for an expressive, almost spicy palate. This IPA is a loose cannon!

Squashy -
If there's one thing we love most about making beer, it's finding ways to recreate our favourite childhood sweets. Mega amounts of fresh raspberry puree and sweet vanilla lactose combine with our thick, juicy kettle sour base to form the perfect fruity and creamy treat, reminiscent of the iconic tuckshop lollipop...

Everlasting - Gobstopper Sour
A different flavour with each sip!
Just as the classic Everlasting Gobstopper changed with each layer, this amped up sour continues to develop as you drink. With punchy hits from Grape, moving onto Cherry and then Apple; this is one of our most fun and complex sours to date.

Wired to the Toon - 👨‍🚀🌌
Caramel Macchiato Impy Stout 10.2%

A blend of Carafa, Crystal and Munich, creates a smooth, complex body with notes of dark chocolate and toffee. Double infused with roasted Bennachie Coffee and left to condition on vanilla and caramel crème, bringing deep macchiato aromas and flavours to this strong, dark Russian Imperial Stout.

American Pale
This refreshing, sessionable pale ale is brewed with Columbus, Citra and Amarillo hops. Expect flavours of citrus, melon, peach and a subtle herbaceous note. Alc. 3.9% ABV.

Hibernator
A premium smooth, roast coffee and chocolate oatmeal stout with light hoppiness. This organic stout uses six different malts make up the malt bill with oats giving mouthfeel, with a few hops chucked in for the hell of it. This beer is all about the malts and a big rich beer. Alc. 7% ABV.

Ardnamurchan distillery turned ten in the summer of 2024 and to celebrate this milestone they launched a unique batch of Ardnamurchan 10 Years Old whisky.

This 15,000 bottle batch was made up of 100% first-fill bourbon casks, where roughly half of the batch was subsequently finished, for over one year, in Champagne Paul Lanais barriques.

The spirit is 100% unpeated and bottled at 50% ABV.

Nose: The nose opens with an overtly tropical offering; replete with ripe mangoes, pineapple cubes, lots of honey. There are baked bananas, brown sugar, figs, and wine gums. With time, we go a little deeper into darker tones of crème caramel, toffee, and meringues with white chocolate.

Palate: Oh, hello there, waxiness! The theme of honey continues, backed up by linseed oil, warming spices, gingerbread, fresh pineapple, and cedar. Oily, waxy, showing great depth!

The fantastic 'M'ango Unchained' from is back! Crafted with all the hop goodness of an IPA and infused with mouth-watering mango & passion fruits. Tropical on the nose & naturally hazy in colour, they have unchained masses of mango & hops into this one and created a beer that is sharp, edgy and bursting with flavour.

Dun Cann Pilsner is back on! Brewed with organic two row Pilsner malt, with a hint of Munich Malt. Hopped with Wakatu hops to give a slightly floral aroma to a beer with a refreshing, crisp finish. 🍺🤤

Fruit, spice and everything nice: the third and final Crop of Fallow Edition has arrived from

A delectable dram to tuck into in the autumn months, this whisky opens with sweet medjool dates and baked apples on the nose, developing into Manuka honey and nutty, malted bread on the palate. The finish boasts rich, buttery notes of sandalwood oils and spicy mixed peppercorns.

Be sure to grab a bottle while you can - this is the last Fallow Edition they will ever release!

Hopped 3:1 with Nelson Sauvin grown in New Zealand and Azacca grown in the USA. This is a rich, fruity IPA with notes of gooseberry, white wine and papaya.

Uphill Rain Pale Ale-
Hoppy session pale ale.

Overcome the age old struggle to have water run uphill. Muddle the old and the new, mingle knowledge and nonsense. Pour... physics shall not deter.

A name inspired by a local counter-science movement to drive rain against gravity.

Put the aft back into craft and hoist the jolly roger.

1879 Red Ale-
This is 1 of 1,870 cans made to celebrate the planning permission being granted for the new Wsted Degrees brewery site in Pitlochry.

Malty, biscuity, rich, umami.

The Ordinance Survey maps of Pitlochry in the 1800's show that a brewery once existed in the town. it's thought that the brewery closed by 1870. but, things are about to change...

Wasted Degrees is bringing brewing back to Pitlochry for the first time in 155 years. Planning permission has now been granted!

Alc. 4.0% ABV

Blueberry Sour -
Brewed with blueberries grown in Scotland. Refreshing, sweet and tart.

Co-pitched with Norwegian Voss Kveik and lactobacillus yeasts, this is sour by design. The blueberry is balanced with floral, tropical and citrus notes from the yeasts, creating a mouth-wateringly refreshing & fruity beer.

Diamond Weizen-
A classic wheat beer, with flavours like banana, breakfast cereals, clove, and white toast.

Inspired by a local mystery. In august 1990, a diamond-shaped flying object was photographed hovering in the sky above the nearby village of Calvine.

The ministry of defence took custody of the photos, where they were kept secret for 32 years...

We may never know what was in the sky that night in 1990.

Another exclusive release at The Misty Bottle! The Hearach First Fill Oloroso Cask Batch 4!

Each batch has a consistent flavour profile but with subtle natural variation due to individual choice of casks and differing 'marrying' periods

The Hearach Oloroso Cask Matured single malt is the second whisky expression from our island distillery and the Isle of Harris.

In the far south-western corner of Spain lies the ancient region of Andalusia. Here among hot and dusty hills, the men and women of sherry-makers José y Miguel Martín ‘cooper’ casks with age-old craft and care before they are filled by their wineries in Jerez.

We first visited this historic part of world back in 2015 to begin our relationship with this highly respected family business, and have been proud to source our specially selected Oloroso butts directly from them ever since.

Their Oloroso sherry is a dry, dark and nutty fortified wine and its influence on the wood in turn imparts an unmistakably bold richness to our spirit when the casks finally reach Harris and begin maturing our island whisky far from their original home.

Tasting Notes

“I get slight aromas of spices on the nose, especially cinnamon, which immediately reminds me of Christmas time. When I drink it, I get some sweet honey notes and caramel flavours come through, particularly sticky toffee pudding which brings memories from my school days. Then there’s a slight peppery note after that, followed by stewed fruits and finally a nice long finish with hints of mint and chocolate. It’s a really lovely dram and I love how complex it all is. A great addition to The Hearach whisky-making.”

'A whisky encompassing the prowess of Raasay’s mighty volcanic mountain, 66 million years in the making, we’re thrilled to continue this annual tradition with the second release. Crafted with the same dedication and attention to detail, this year’s edition brings even more depth and richness, matured in our signature Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez Sherry quarter casks for a truly unique flavour profile. An annual release with each edition offering slight points of difference in cask composition or age.'

This whisky exudes peppery spice, dried sultanas and hints of vanilla with a finish of lingering salty chocolate and a light hint of aromatic wood smoke.

New beers from in stock! 🍺

Moonwake IPA is inspired by the West Coast IPA and brewed with hops grown around the Pacific. Pithy flavours of pine-resin, orange and grapefruit courtesy of Chinook, Mosaic and Southern Cross hops. All balanced with German malts and Dextrin for a bitter-sweet finish with a hint of malty biscuits. A timeless and classic IPA.

The West Coast Pale Ale is brewed on the East coast of Scotland in collaboration with Good Chemistry, our pals from Bristol. This beer is easy to drink, with a hint of pine, and it highlights the American hop varieties Mosaic, Lemondrop, and Columbus.

All of this is precision brewed on a strong malt base to deliver you a balanced beer to enjoy!

Embrace the tang with the latest refreshingly sharp sour beer. Precision brewed using a blend of Yuzu rind and Kaffir lime leaves creating a bittersweet sensation on the palate. Bursting with vibrant citrus, it evokes memories of sipping on lemon and lime bitters under the sun.

The great have completed the barley harvest on the farm, announcing the launch of the third and final Crop of Harvest Edition.

Sitting at 46% ABV, this release has been double matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels and Port hogsheads, alongside a single Oloroso Sherry butt.

Indulge in notes of strawberry jam and clotted cream on the nose, giving way to freshly baked apple pie and white chocolate on the palate. The finish is beautifully balanced with a hint of cracked black pepper.
