Are you ready to meet the life of the party in the wine world? Say hello to Gewürztraminer - the Ginger Spice of grapes, with a flamboyant twist on the classic Moscato. It’s all about the drama with this spicy, floral number that turns heads before you even take a sip. The variety has high natural sugar and the wines are white and usually off-dry, with a flamboyant bouquet.
Intensely perfumed and unapologetically bold with richness in flavour and texture, it’s known for a stunning bouquet of lychee, mango, and rose water, with a Turkish Delight note on the finish. Pair it with a zingy chilli dish or a hearty schnitzel and watch the magic happen.
Originally from Italy (Alto-Adige) but now famously Alsace and Germany.

If you love a Whisky Sour, then this is the beer for you - this genre-defying 8% brew is the UnBarred riff on the iconic cocktail, made in collaboration with our friends at Brighton whisky powerhouse Cut Your Wolf Loose.

Starting with a perfectly-executed Berliner Weisse base, we layered hundreds of hand peeled & juiced lemons into the boil for citric-oomph, then complimented this with the gorgeous whisky notes from Cameronbridge single grain Scotch barrel.

This beer is both bold and artfully balanced. Hot on the heels of the tart, lemony opening note is the warmth and delicious oaky character of a smooth scotch.

If there’s one wine style that divides opinion more than any other, it’s surely Chardonnay, one of those grapes that everyone knows, and either hates (the ABC, Anything But Chardonnay brigade!) or absolutely loves, like us here at Seven Cellars... But dare we say, considering the exciting and diverse range of styles it can produce, we really believe there’s a Chardonnay out there for everyone!
These days Chardonnay is best known for the full-bodied styles that have been aged in oak that are decadent and nutty with buttery flavours. However,
Chardonnay can also be produced without much (or any) oak resulting in a crunchy, crisp, and tangy style too!
Some even with oyster-shell minerality... very lean, clean and sometimes even mouth-puckering austerity — like biting into a sour green apple!

Escape from New York… Mosaic and Vic Secret hops give action packed flavours and aromas of fresh lime and pineapple. Do you accept your mission to rescue your taste buds with this session IPA?
ABV 4%, vegan

They Live… This bizarre alien-like blue sour beer is best consumed whilst wearing dark glasses. It is not all out of bubblegum, but it does kick ass. Obey, conform and consume.
ABV 4.8%, vegan

Prince of Darkness… Coffee & Vanilla Stout - There is truth in flesh (vanilla) and the solid ground (coffee) in this delicious dark and secretive otherworldly stout. Will you free our Prince of Darkness?
ABV 5.4%, vegan

The Fog… Huge passion fruit notes burst out of this Strata and Mosaic hazy (foggy) IPA like vengeful ghosts. There’s something delicious in The Fog

The first ‘Primeur’ of the year! Foulards Rouges Octobre is released each year in… October!
90% Syrah, 10% Grenache grown on granitic soil, hand harvested and spontaneous carbonic fermentation, no SO2 added, this smile inducing wine literally sings in the glass - juicy red fruits, lively and energy filled. 11% ABV
Purity is the watchword here; the first thing you notice is the freshness of the wine.

You may well be feeling overwhelmed, or confused by the variety of sake choices and unsure about the best way to drink it. Not only does sake taste, smell, and look different than any other drink, there’s a specific way you’re supposed to drink it to get the most out of the finish.
Dispelling a few myths about Sake is a good place to start. Firstly, it doesn’t have to accompany Japanese food only, although it does so particularly well. Also, that the lower quality the sake the better it is served warm/ at room temperature to disguise the lower grade. Premium Sake is better off served chilled.
Like wine or beer, you’ll probably have to try a few before you happen across your preferred type.
