Our teams came together to lift 1800KG, the equivalent weight of an Atlantic 85 Lifeboat! They smashed the challenge of lifting a basket weighing 10kg 180 times to raise funds for our charity partner🛒🏋️
Some stores carried the weight together like our Banff team, and others tackled it solo like Laura in Inverbervie who did all 180 reps🤩 A huge thanks to all our team members and our customers who took part🙌

Today is the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste🍏 — a day to shine a light on one of the world’s most pressing environmental issues🌍
Saving food from going to waste has been named as the leading solution for solving the climate crisis, so today, we're also focusing on the small steps we can take to make a difference.
Did you know that every time you save a Surprise Bag with Scotmid Co-op, 2.5kg of CO2e gets avoided?🛍️ It might seem like a small step in the scheme of things, but when you multiply one person’s effort, that impact adds up. So far, we’ve saved 51,498 Surprise Bags. And in doing so, we've avoided 128,745kg of CO2e. A lot of small steps that added up into something big👣
So on this day of awareness, we have one simple message: every time you take a step towards a greener planet, your choices make a difference. It matters. Thank you🙌 Too Good To Go

We invite customers, members and colleagues to get on board and ‘seas’ the opportunity to support fundraising efforts together!
Funds raised will enable the RNLI to purchase a new Atlantic 85 lifeboat, which will form part of the relief fleet and will be used by stations to assist in critical rescues🛥️
