#FromDayOne
For #MenopauseAwarenessMonth Ali and Issy, two of the cancer support specialists at @maggiescentres share with us what a treatment induced ‘crash’ menopause is.
If you’re starting treatment and are worried about potentially going into a crash menopause, or are experiencing symptoms during treatment and unsure whether it’s due to chemo or crash menopause, just come in to your nearest Maggie’s centre for expert support.
To learn more about menopause and cancer visit the Maggie’s website: https://www.maggies.org/cancer-support/managing-symptoms-and-side-effects/menopause-and-cancer/
Our partnership aims to raise awareness of Maggie’s extensive services and fund 15,000 sessions of cancer support across their centres. Together, we can ensure that no one faces cancer alone. 💛🧡
#CrashMenopause #MenopauseSupport
If you or someone you love has cancer, Maggie's Centres is there for you.
Today we're hearing from the people at Maggie's Dundee that no matter what you’re facing, their support specialists, psychologists and benefits advisors are here to help you find your way to live with cancer. Maggie's offers you support that fits your needs. Even their buildings are a bit special, and different from a hospital. Every Maggie’s is as unique as you are. 🧡
Check out Scotmid's JustGiving page to track our fundraising progress and see how we're making a difference together 👏 All donations support Maggie's cancer support sessions across Scotland: justgiving.com/campaign/scotmidmaggies 🤗
