We suggest possible uses of each wine in relation with a special event or occasion or in relation with a meal time or eating gathering. We honestly try our hardest to keep prices as low as possible by buying directly from the wineries and keeping our margins to a minimum. Cost elements include collection from each winery, transport to the UK warehouse and storage, delivery by wine professionals, alcohol UK excise duty and VAT. Simplicity

Logistics
We ship all the wines to our logistic partner’s warehouse in London where they are perfectly stored in wine dedicated premises, ready for a prompt and efficient UK delivery. orders received before noon are dispatched and delivered the following business day. The rest of mainland UK is served on a 48h service if orders are received before noon. Deliveries are normally made between 8.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Promoción Sanlúcar

Salúcar de Barrameda is not only the home of world renowned manzanilla, the sherry wine similar to fino.
On the 20th September 1519, the harbour of Sanlúcar saw the departure of the first fleet to circumnavigate the globe. The 239-strong crew was lead by captain Fernando de Magallanes who died two years later in battle. The expedition returned to Sanlúcar de Barrameda on the 6th September 1522, lead by Juan Sebastián Elcano with only 18 surviving crew.

Very interesting article on long time dominating wine guru Robert Parker (USA) by Master of Wine Tim Atkin (UK).

In Spain there has for years existed a trend of moving away from heavy wines. But that may have to do not only with moving on from Parker's standards but also with moving away from our heritage, towards globalisation and mass markets' average consumer preferences. Cigales, Toro and Jumilla to name a few kingdoms of concentration, ripeness and structure, have historically produced very big, heavy wines that do not appeal to a majority. This trend can be associated with that of moving away from long oak ageing processes and over-oxidised wines.
