Last week Ian joined the team from Bang The Elephant Brewing Co. in Nottingham to brew our latest collab. 🍻
The beer is…drumroll, please…
𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 & 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝘂𝘁 (12% ABV) 🍫🍊🍯
East meets West with the familiar taste of moreish chocolate orange confectionery often gifted here in the UK for Xmas meeting the delicious flavours of mixed flower honey from Lamma Island & dried mandarin peel, both flown in from Hong Kong 🇭🇰
ℹ️ The best things come to those who wait, so this beer will be available across Nottingham & Yorkshire in keg & cans from January (that’s #Tryanuary sorted!)
💤 Some of the batch is also resting up in old rum barrels to be released later in 2023
Today marks the second anniversary for Gweilo Beer here in the UK! 🎉
Since launching, we’ve upped our core range to 440ml cans, moved our brewing to be with our friends at Brew York, collaborated with some wonderful UK breweries, popped up at a load of amazing events, released our first NFT beer, won some awards, and featured as ‘Beer of the Week’ twice. And we’re just getting started!
