After 6 months of quiet we are so pleased to announce that the Dartmouth Farmers Market RETURNS!🥳 (with some changes...)

The market's founders Helen & Julie of The Coastal Kitchen Devon have handed it over to a co-operative of new organisers! 🙊
The market will now be run by:...

and Serin ( Dartmouth Fine Foods )

We can't wait to continue the excellent foodie work of our predecessors! 😋

..but, where are we this weekend?

Saturday 9am - 2pm - Kingsbridge Farmers Market. Plus to get into the festive mood, this week there will be an ice rink right next to us as part of the Kingsbridge Celebrates Christmas festival.

Sunday 9am - 4pm - Tavistock, Bedford Square (there will sadly not be a Ice Rink, but we will be serving Hot Gin Toddys).

Sunday 10am - 2pm - Kingswear Community Market organised by our friends Grove Meadows Family Butchers.

This weeks grand gin tour has gotten off to a flying start ✈️

Today we were catching up with our fabulous regulars at Kingsbridge Farmers Market. 👋

Tomorrow we will be at in Plymouth and on Thursday we will be at where the weather has PROMISED to be fine and sunny 🌞 ☀️

(I’ve optimistically packed my welly’s away, and refused to bring them back out!)

We are SUPER excited to have our label shortlisted - one of the fun things that the team at Amberley Labels did for us was use their digital foil technology to ensure that every 3 labels have different coloured Jellyfish on the label! We think it’s exceptionally cool. 😎

And now time for our second entry shortlisted for Label of the Year in the UK Packaging Awards 2022. Innovative inside and out, we love the labels Amberley has produced for Jellyfish Gin.

The founders of Jellyfish Gin were inspired by Cornwall's colour changing coastal jellyfish and infusion pockets of dried botanicals allow customisable colour and taste. Perfectly capturing the brand story from product to packaging, we used DIGITAL METAL® print technology to create different colour metallic jellyfish for three label variations within the same batch.

Sorry about the radio silence 😇

I disappeared for a bit because... Miles and I got married (horah!) 👰‍♀🤵‍♂

Obviously, it was a very Jellyfish Gin based day! 🧡

We had mini gin favours for the guests, an amazing wedding cake made by the fabulous Amanda Bake Away Plymouth who infused the top tier with gin from our first ever batch (it was superb!)...
..and Jellyfish was OF COURSE the official gin served from the bar by Kelly and team from Fillies & Fizz.

Pwah! What a Jellyfish extravaganza!

I'll update you guys with actual Gin news next week, but thank you so much for your understanding whilst we were away (especially those who used our website to pre-order gin whilst we were on honeymoon).

Our labels for Jellyfish Gin are a finalist in the 'Excellence with toner' and 'Innovation' categories. 👑Over this Bank Holiday weekend we have been/are/will be (!) at the show. This is our FIRST EVER county show and we are really enjoying it. ☺️

In all honesty as a small business, coming to a show of this scale felt a bit daunting at first, it has been a big task and a HUGE learning curve. It’s taken a lot of preparation and planning over the last 3 weeks to get ready and almost 4 hours to set up on Wednesday evening and we are SO delighted that we came because so far the response from customers has been really positive (thanks everyone)!

We were delighted to donate Jellyfish Gin to the dinner which was organised by the fabulous Dartmouth Food Festival team. The evening was a wonderful success and rasied over £4000 for Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) this money will go directly to Ukrainians who need our help during this horrifying time. The event itself was one of the most wonderful that we have ever been a privilege to be a part of - everything (food, venue, chefs, time etc) was donated which was an amazing feet by an incredible community! Each course was a traditional Ukrainian dish which was expertly cooked by Dartmouth Fine Foods and Cafe Alfresco
