What is more, this is the first of its kind! Produced where? As you have guessed, in Greece, motherland and proud guardian of the retsina style! The fruity & botanical character of the wine complements the seafood protein beautifully and resonates with the flavours of celery and marjoram. This is one of our favourite wines and we want to share it with you!

⛰ Aoton winery is located in Peania at only 20km from Athens. The winery cultivates 3 local grape varieties, Savatiano, Roditis and Mandilaria with the only focus in creating outstanding and innovative wines.
~
Seventeen a 70% Savatiano and 30% Roditis. The grape are hand harvested at night to preserve the freshness of the grapes. Notes of lemon, apricots and honeysuckle with great minerality.

We have just recieved this incredible Sparkling Retsina From Nikolou Winery made with the traditional method and aged 6 months on fine lees. Elegant bubbles with aromas of white blossom, candied lemon peel and pine drops. This is the first Sparkling Restina in the world and we are honoured to have just received this wine and is now available on our website.

Primus Zitsa is made in Epirus, North West of Greece with an indigenous grape variety called Debina 🍇
~
This wine region is known for its sparkling wines and is the smallest PDO appellation in Greece 🍾
~
Glinavos is one the most important producer in the region and decided to give a new face to this incredible grape variety making a still wine with character reflecting the local terroir ⛰
~
The wine has lovely minerality with a refreshing salinity accompanied by star fruit, white blossom and orange peel

Peloponnese is one the most incredible regions in mainland Greece thanks to it's long heritage sites, beautiful coastline, high mountains and a lovely climate that allows the perfect ripening of grapes for wine production
~
The most important wine region in here is Nemea which represents the largest PDO appellation in the country.
~
Its flagship red grape variety Agiorgitiko is not only the most well-known byt also the most cultivated red variety nationwide 🍇
~
Other regions such as Corinthia, Achaia and Laconia produce also notable wine examples with the red variety Mavrodaphne that dominates across the north and west of the peninsula and the white varieties Roditis, Moschofilero, Muscat Blanc and Kidonista, cultivated throughout, add versatility and character in the wine production of this blessed land
