The shop will be open tomorrow (Saturday) 10am to 5pm and from there on open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10 to 5 for January and February.

Almost ready for ba season. Although Orkney Souvenirs is in its 9th year this is the first time I have had to put up the barricades. I hope they do their job, or dare I say I hope they are not needed (ideally it will be in the water 😉).

Just had a read of this, lots of great orkney fare and local businesses and I even managed to get a mention 👍.

After the storms, the sun shone as we set off northward bound for Orkney. New sign writing done and lots of new jigsaws to add to the window displays, just need to piece it all together again (pun totally intended).

Nearly ready to reopen tomorrow, new location but essentially still the same shop. Still lots of work to do but reopening at 10am on Monday 4th November.
Probably should mention the new location is 51 Victoria street, Kirkwall between Bruce’s stores and Sutherland.

One week from today on Saturday 24th August Orkney Souvenirs will close at anchor buildings in bridge Street and start the process of relocating to our new shop in Victoria Street (between sutherlands and Bruce's stores). With a bit of work to do in the new premises and some family commitments in the next few months I will be looking to reopen on November 4th. I hope all our customers will be able to find us there.

Various mugs reduced to £3.50 each and horse themed image plates reduced to £5 for regular size and £4 for the smaller ones. There are also lots of other random things in a reduced to clear box too.
