It’s been a while but Botas de Barro is finally back in stock! For those of you who don’t know, these wines are absolutely fantastic and they’re made by my friend, Nicola. Nicola is originally from Rotherham but produces wines in Spain, namely Toro and Rueda.

WHY IS IT ORANGE?
This wine gets it’s colour from contact with white/green grape skins. This turns the juice orange in colour.
WHAT DOES IT TASTE LIKE?
It’s aromatic with floral notes, combined with beautiful volcanic mineral qualities from the soil the grapes are grown in. Expect grippy tannins but ultimately a refreshing drop.
