🍇Here is Vincent and Baptiste in their family vineyard, started by their grandfather Jean Lasseaux in 1955.

🍇They’re committed to sustainable production, gaining the “Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne” certification.

🍇 They’re a micro-grower with a small but mighty 16 acres of vineyards.

We’re delighted to announce March’s fizz...*drumroll please*...

🍾 Introducing Champagne Lasseaux’s Pole Position!

🍾They’re a family run micro grower based in La Neuville-Aux-Larris, Champagne.

🍾 It’s a 100% Pinot Meunier.

🍾 And most importantly, it’s super delicious with flavours of apple and gooseberry with undertones of chaulky minerality. YUM.

I’m so happy to share with you our delicious February Fizz by ! Heading out today is their 2018 Pinot Noir Sparkling Rosé - the warming rose gold colour of this fabulous fizz has really brightened up the freezing cold February.

👀: Rose Gold, with perfect bubbles.

👃: Ripe red berries and red apples

👅: Fresh raspberries, small wild strawberries and a hint of an old fashioned strawberry sherbert.

Our Christmas fizz is from the House of Dumenil in the Champagne region. Everything they produce is a ‘Premier Cru’, with the classic chalky soil of Champagne giving the fizz it’s distinctive flavour. Their vineyards are based just a few kilometres south of the famous city of Reims.

Our latest send out was a wonderful champagne by
Founded in 1874 by Emile-Paul Dumenil, it’s now run by his great granddaughter Frederique and her husband Hugues, where they still use horse power around the vineyards to minimise the impact on their soil. So not only are they doing their bit for the environment, it also tastes absolutely delicious as well!

Fancy a twist on the classic cocktail, a French 75? It’s traditionally made with gin, and dates back to a New York bar during World War One.

Method:
1. Pour the lemon juice and vodka into a cocktail shaker and fill with ice.
⁣
2. Shake well, preferably as you dance around the kitchen to some blaring music.
⁣
3. Strain into a champagne flute, and top with champagne.
⁣
4. Once the bubbles have settled, swirl with a cocktail stirrer and garnish with a slice of lemon zest.
⁣
