This is a deliciously grapey, muscatty, warming pudding wine from France. Perfect for having around at Christmas, but personally I’d have a bottle permanently in the fridge all year round!

One of those wines which make you stop in your wine-tasting tracks. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot has been aged for 14 months in tanks with oak staves before bottling. It’s enough to make you wonder whether or not you want to buy expensive claret again.

Aged in 57 American oak barrels for 12 months then rounded-off in bottle before release. Classic, soft, smooth, comforting Rioja from Spain.

The wine with attitude! Made from a blend of the local varieties Primitivo, Negro Amaro and Malvasia Nera. Lush and plush like velvet, also juicy, scented, intense, rich brimming with the smell of violets, deep purple plums and bitter cherries.
