It was a pleasure to host the “wine part” of wine and food evening. 30 lovely people came along to taste 6 wines, lots of great food and we even threw in the easiest wine quiz ever!!!! A great evening was had by all and nearly £1k was raised to help those in need.

In case you missed it, we delivered a big, fat smile to the FIRST EVER live baseball game at The London Stadium. Okay, it was last week and we’re a bit late posting, but let’s call this a throwback Thursday thing... is that a thing? Let’s make it a weekly thing.

Getting ready for a wine tasting for a new restaurant opening soon. You only get one chance to make 1st impression, getting the wines right and the right wines is sooooo important for a new place. We achieved that, with 5 reds & 5 whites a couple of rose and some sparkling, can’t wait for the opening…… sworn to secrecy 🤫🤫🤫

How we got started

Back in the summer of 2004, there I was with a few friends enjoying dinner and a glass of wine when I thought, "you know what, this wine isn't very good, I am sure I could source better than this" and there the idea for my own wine business was born.

In January 2005 Paramount Wines made its first tentative steps into the world of wine. Here we are nearly 15 years later with a portfolio of absolute quality.

We view our portfolio as a 'work in progress' and hold regular tastings to add wines or replace some of the range. Wines that we decide to take on and offer are all tasted and approved by the team, many are rejected, but the ones that make it, you can be sure, are fantastic wines that won't break the bank.
