Bodegas Pulenta is a family-owned wine-making company that started over a hundred years ago in 1912. The Luján de Cuyo plantation was added in 1992. Eduardo and Hugo Pulenta are now in charge, taking over from their father, Antonio, and are the third generation of wine makers.Pulenta is located in Alto Agrelo in Mendoza and owns 135 hectares of vineyards in the best sub-regions of Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley. These vineyards are at high altitudes of 3000 to 3500 feet, which cools down the Mendoza heat and results in more refined and balanced wines. All the vineyards use organic methods and are watered with natural melted Andes snow water.
