If you love adventure, the outdoors, sea kayaking, stories of world firsts, the Arctic and messages of resilience then this is a book for you, written by my friend Mark Agnew.
Mark faced many challenges on his journey to the arctic. In 2018 we both took part in the World's Toughest Row but sadly Mark didn't achieve his goal of rowing across the Atlantic Ocean. We then, together with a few other good friends, signed up to row the Arctic's Northwest Passage. Unfortunately after 3 years prep, fund raising and training, that didn't work out! That was a tough lesson learned. But following that Mark shows his resilience and achieve something never done before.
His book is the story of the first people to kayak the entire Arctic Northwest Passage - 103 days of epic adventure, polar bears, ice bergs and near death experiences.
It's a great read and a great present for yourself or the adventurer in your life.
Mark is also the inspiration for our Northwest Passage Arctic Explorer Gin available online at the Adventurers Drinks Company.
