You might have noticed the Colonsay Beer Company has been very quite over the past year or so. Unfortunately, after 17 years of colonsay beer, we are wrapping up the business. We just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for your support. It has been wonderful getting to meet so many of you over the years, whether in the shop on the island or at events such as . I hope you all continue to enjoy the island, even though it might not be as good without our great beer!

Hi everyone!

We have been pretty quiet recently but we have some exciting news in the pipeline that we are finally ready to share with you all (after a few COVID-19 related delays)! We have rebranded our beer business to The Colonsay Beer Co! We are keeping the same Colonsay Brewery recipes that we all know and love (IPA, Pigs Paradise and Hangman’s Rock) and a new recipe The Strand all coming with a bit of an updated look! We have worked closely with Hari Williams (who some of you may remember from The Sipping Container!) to come up with our new design and we hope you all love it as much as we do!

A big thank you to everyone who has got in touch recently, whether that be island queries or wondering where on the mainland you can buy our beer (we will be in touch soon now that the ball is rolling again and hopefully we will have a definite list of stockists in the near future!). Your support has been much appreciated, especially after the struggles that have come with the pandemic, so thank you! Looking forward to having a pint with you all soon!
