I've got an entire batch of fairies drying, 5l bath with copper forming feathers, a bunch of butterfly earrings crystallising and 20 of these adorable witchy bracelets beaded.

The Grim Rorschach.

I sat down with my paints for the first time in a long while. I painted flowers, water, leaves and everything felt a little forced.

So okay, close my eyes, shut out the world, and paint with emotion.

I've been forced in the last couple of months to face death more than I would like. With the loss of a family member, a dear friend, and confronted with my own mortality. So Grim felt like a true to emotion piece. When I stepped back and looked at it, I cried. So much beauty in so much pain.

I know I have more of these in me, but for now Grim can sit in victory. Catharsis achieved.

Can't wait for this to dry properly so I can scan to print.
