Hi folks, to keep you all in the loop we are going to reopen the pub on Friday 16th of April from 4-11pm.
As you know we can only serve you in the Garden or outside on the front benches.😟😟. The rule of six will be in place. Masks don't have to be worn outside, but must be worn if you come inside to use the toilets.
We will open weekends only until restrictions are further lifted on the 17th of may. We have provisionaly booked KXB for Saturday 22 may. This will almost certainly have to be a ticketed event , with numbers limited. We will forward more details when we are able.
So Donna, Val, Naomi, and Joe Look forward to welcoming you back from 16th April 4pm. 😎😎😎😎

OK, let’s do it🤣🤣🤣. We will open from 11am this Saturday 4 th of July. Pub life matters , so please all adhere to the social distancing guidelines. It’s an unknown journey for all of us. Obviously this lockdown has hit us very hard financially, as it has many others. We will endeavour to keep our prices fair, but have been told to expect increases from the breweries, which I’m afraid we will have to pass on 😒😒. So come on down folks , watch The Albion play Norwich, the sound will be on but it will be quieter than usual, and try to keep the noise down as Albion rattle in the goals 🤣🤣⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️😎😎. So , ENJOY, your local independent boozer is BACK ❤️❤️❤️

Hi guys, Boris and his bozos are really making life difficult for us in the pub game ! I'm seriously wondering if all the possible agrevation is going to be worthwhile for us to open on July 4 th . They are asking us to keep a record of customers who enter the pub for a period of 21 days, and then destroy. Various comments on social media suggest under the data protection act they can't do that . The advice we have from solicitors is they can, and then it would have to be tested in law through the courts. When we open, I will open a diary for each day and ask for your name and mobile phone number , that's all. This will help in the tracing of any possible covid problem. This will be a condition of entry. If you refuse, which is your right, I'm afraid we will refuse you entry. I'm hoping this measure will protect both our staff and our customers. PLEASE , do not have a go at the staff over this this is my decision not theirs. I'm sorry we have to do this, but I want to be seen to adhering to the guidance as much as possible and not risk losing my license. Many thanks, Steve Bennett.

So, a little trip to Langham’s Brewery to pick up some ale today with Barbs.After our deliveries we have just 2 x 5 litre kegs of Arapaho ( 4.9%). left . So 10.5 pints £30 any takers folks ?
