What is Fine Cider?

Made from specific cider apple varieties (or pears for Perry) which are more bitter, have more sugar and tannins than eating apples.

Like grapes for wine making there are loads of different varieties that have different characteristics.

Ciders are a unique expression of the variety, the season, the orchard and what the producer does during fermentation and ageing. Just like wine!

Always made fermented from 100% pressed apples

Mass market ciders are often made from apple juice concentrate, sugar, colourings and added water!

These ciders offer huge variety in style and complexity.
