Good afternoon, we would like to thank everyone for the well wishes. We can confirm there was an incident in the early hours of the morning however there has been a lot of misinformation. Sandy News was not robbed and there has been no damage to the shop.

Due to the nature of the incident we won’t disclose what happened but we can confirm 2 of our members of staff have sustained injuries however are safe and well. We would like everyone to respect the fact we don’t want to go into any further details.

Sorry that this is not a positive post but we feel the need to make a few things clear! 😡
Over the past couple of weeks have noticed an increase in individuals stealing from us! We have no tolerance for this and will always inform the police and other appropriate authorities about these incidents. A lifetime ban will always be put in place and must be followed, if it is not being followed then we will have no choice but to yet again inform the police. 👮‍♀️
All we ask is that you educate your kids on why stealing is wrong and the impact it has. We are very reasonable and will try to help individuals out but again we will not have them stealing!
Just so everyone is aware we have cctv throughout the shop so don’t ever think you will get away with it. We will do everything we can to find out who it was and pass this information on.
