Well what a year we have had, the same old owners (now both 60) and Daddio doing his thing, the same wonderful staff who have worked so hard again this year, the lovely loyal customers and now a brand new post office, we are getting to grips with it all and you have been so patient with us, fingers crossed by next year this will be a distant memory and we will wonder what it was like before it came.
( oh and one very treasured trophy given to us by the Horning community) So thank you one and all for your custom and support it means such a lot to us.

HORNING VILLAGE YOU ARE AMAZING - we were awarded the National Lottery Local Retail Champions of East Anglia and it was all down to you, our customers. We won an amazing £5k and we have decided to put it towards the Post Office.
We felt very honoured yesterday receiving the award and will show it off in the shop. We had a great evening celebrating the win at the NYE Lottery Big Bash🎉🍾🥂

We can’t begin to tell you how humbled we feel knowing we have helped the village and that has been reciprocated.

I’m just so sorry that the gremlins in the Horizon system continue to evade us, fingers crossed it’s up and running today 🫰

POST OFFICE UPDATE

Operation Post Office is a GO, we officially open tomorrow at 1pm, please come and join us to meet a very special guest all the way from Greendale and enjoy a mulled wine while we celebrate this special event.
Thank you all for being so patient with us to get this far and may we ask for a little bit more whilst we find our feet with the computer system and learning it all. 📮💌✉️📦💷💰😘

IMPORTANT UPDATE

We are so sorry to inform you that the date for the opening of the post office is now cancelled for tomorrow Friday 29th November 😞😭😭
We are looking to go live on Tuesday 3rd December at 1pm for all of you wishing to join us at this momentous occasion.
We can’t tell you how gutted we are that this has happened so close to opening but please believe us when we say we are doing everything in our power to open next week 📮✉️📦💰💵💶💷

Well it’s all happening this week, operation Post Office has started, the sign is up, the counter is in and we are on track to open this Friday 29th November at 1pm.
We have a very special guest joining us and we will be providing a little something to keep you warm, looking forward to seeing you all 📮📬📨💳💵🏷️📦💶💷💰🫰
