Thank you to everyone that applied for the Saturday job, sorry if we didn’t come back to everyone, as we were inundated with people.

We still have a vacancy for the early morning delivery driver

It’s an early start of 5am until approx 830am.
3-4 mornings a week

Sunday to Wednesday mornings 5am until 830am.

Shop assistant
Must be a jolly morning person
Working in our little shop in Lutterworth.
7am until 12 Midday every Saturday morning.

3.
Paper delivery persons
One is Sunday to Tuesday
The other is Wednesday to Friday
Both in the Lutterworth area

Simms Newsagents of Lutterworth has been a prominent business in the Town for over 120 years.

First started by Arthur Simms in 1900 on Bell St in Lutterworth.
Just before the Second World War the shop moved to Leicester Road opposite Lutterworth Ford Garage, being ran by Cecil Simms and his sister Evelyn.

In the 1970’s Roger Simms was taking over the running of the business and moved back into the town square.

Roger then set up his specialist Newsagents on Station Road by the town square which is still running today serving Lutterworth and surrounding Villages with newspapers and magazines.

The shop stocks over 200 different magazines and 20 different daily newspapers.

Simms really is a little hidden gem of the town.

The shop is open from 7am every day and the delivery rounds are out from 530am.
