Exciting news!! 🥃🎃 On the day of dead souls we are pleased to welcome Living Souls to our shelves! Living Souls are a new Scottish independent bottlers specialising in small batch and single cask releases. To celebrate the brands launch they have unveiled their first batches of 4 incredible limited edition whiskies!

Let me introduce these 4 beautiful bottles…

A 15 Year Old Blended Scotch drawn from Living Souls’ solera system, to which exciting new whiskies are continually added. Gorgeous notes of sherry and tapas style meats!

An 18 Year Old Ledaig Single Malt comprised of a blend of Ledaig and Tobermory single malts aged in refill busts and hogsheads delivers elements of fresh apple and smoke.

A 19 Year Old Islay Blended Malt matured in refill bourbon and sherry casks perfect for bonfire night, peaty, salty and delicious.

A 40 Year Old Blended Scotch well aged in a single refill Sherry butt boasts notes of ripe, juicy fruit and woodsy freshness. Incredible complex and downright tasty!

Nat’Cool 👁️👁️ Our favourite 1L easy drinking natural wines from Niepoort, now featuring a new Nat’Cool Rosé which we will try on Friday for our evening tasting from 5pm till 7pm.🍷

This medium-bodied rosé from Dirk Niepoort showcases a blush peach hue with notes of red florals, crunchy mirabelle plum, and meadow grasses. Smooth on the palate, finishing with a hint of spice. Made from old vines at Quinta de Nápoles in northern Portugal 🇵🇹 It’s vibrant and easy to enjoy! Drink now.

SATURDAY WHISKY TASTING 🥃

We’re very pleased to have Lauren from AD Rattray and The Clydeside Distillery joining us at the tasting table tomorrow!

Rattray are one of our favourite whisky suppliers, a trusted indie bottler that consistently picks phenomenal whiskies for single cask release, as well as sourcing of some of the best value drams on our shelves, such as Stronachie 10 and the Casks of Scotland series.

Their sister company The Clydeside Distillery is a welcome new addition to our shelves and it’s great having another local producer in the roster - you can walk to the distillery from our shop in just half an hour!

This is a free tasting, just pop by anytime between 1pm and 5pm tomorrow, say hello to Lauren, and try some delicious whiskies!

🍂 Excited to share our latest find: Pietra Amber Beer! After last Wednesday’s tasting, we’re convinced this is the ultimate autumnal brew. TRY BEFORE YOU BUY! We've got samples of Tayport Distillery Vanilla Vodka, Blackcurrant Liqueur, Raspberry Liqueuer, and their NEW COFFEE LIQUEUR in stock.

We love Tayport Distillery so it was great when they came to visit and bring us some tasty treats. The raspberry liqueuer is TO DIE FOR - It's like drinking the centre of a jammy dodger. And we'll defintely be using their coffee liqueuer for Espresso Martini's.

Ask staff to try before you buy when you are next in store. We've got lots of other bottles open of various whiskies, gins, vodkas etc too - just ask!
