Today was the day we said goodbye 😢

We moved to saltwell road in 1988, I was 9, Lee was 11, mam was 38 and dad 39. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

We spent 12 year in our small shop and in 1998 we moved into the big shop and lived and worked together all those years.😱

Over the years we’ve laughed we’ve cried, we’ve loved and we’ve lost, it’s been challenging and a lot of hard work but more than anything it’s been home and a place we loved to be, we’ve met friends for life and watched family’s grow, we’ve seen weddings, funerals, births and many more
We could go on forever with stories and things we’ve seen and heard. 😉

Lee and myself grew and became parents 👨‍👩‍👧👨‍👧‍👧ourselves and our girls have grow up here too.

Behind the scenes we’ve argued, laughed and cried, we’ve had a few members off staff over the years who we are extremely grateful too and a special mention to our longest serving member, friend and adopted family Sandra, we couldn’t of done it without you and we will always be forever grateful. 😍

Of course none of this would of been possible without YOU our customers our friends, we would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU 💕 THANK YOU for your continued support, for making us welcome and adopting us as fellow benshamers( there really is no place like it).❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍🤎

BUT

We started together ( actually mam and dad have had a shop since they were 22, me and Lee were born into it) and we always said we would finish together so today we did❤️
There are many reasons we have sold ( which I will keep private) but it wasn’t any easy decision and we are filled with a mix of emotions🥲😊

It’s time for a new beginnings and we would like to wish the new owner and his family a lifetime of success and as much happiness as we had but for now it’s THANK YOU to our little and big shop and of course to saltwell road, you will always be my home and we will treasure our memories forever.

Darceys wax melts are made with only the best quality 100% soy wax.
Using soy wax, a natural alternative to paraffin wax, give a clean burn that lasts longer and smells stronger. These square shaped pieces of wax are placed into the top of an oil burner with a tea light underneath which melts the wax and releases the scent.
Our scented oils are all Nitro Musk and Phthalate free. We do not colour our wax meaning we have as natural a product as possible.
Darceys wax melts come in a box of 8 melts and each box has a burning time of approximately 24 hours.

Hello hope everyone is ok

As many of you know I started to sell wax melts, burners and sizzlers in the shop and I’m trying to continue to do so.

I will be hopefully placing orders every 4 to 6 weeks,
Orders over £10 will be delivered around Gateshead or I can post for an extra charge,
Everything has to be ordered and paid for by bank transfer before I post or deliver.

I currently sell from darceys and scentual aromas but I will be adding more company’s soon so keep a look out.

Today has been a rollercoaster, we’ve felt every emotion possible 🥹 we simply can’t thank you all enough for your cards, gifts, photos, comments and visits 😍 from 1988 in our little sweet shop till 1998 in our big shop, we’ve seen children grow and there children grow, weddings, special occasions, births and of course the ones we said goodbye too💔
We have amazing memories and we’ve made friends for life 💕THANK YOU loads of love to you all ###xx

Thank you for all your lovely comments from our previous post, we aren’t just closing just due to thieves, 😔 it’s time for mam ( Sheila) and dad (Stuart) to retire. 😘We always said we would start together and finish together so after 35 year that’s exactly what we’re doing and tomorrow Monday 5th September is our last day!!😳
We would like to take this opportunity to say a massive THANKYOU to you all for your custom and support but more importantly your love and friendship❤️
We would also like to thank Sandra Ogg from the bottom of our hearts because we couldn’t of done the last 20 year without her and to let her know she is amazing ❤️

I’ve deleted the posts but thank you to everyone for the names and info, I haven’t deleted because I’m scared, I’ve deleted it as I just can’t do this anymore!!!!, them and hundreds off others who have stolen, hit, insulted and threatened my lively hood, myself and my family are just not worth my time, mental health or breath!!!!, karma is a bitch and it will catch up with you all!!!

AS FOR ME AND MY FAMILY THIS WASNT THE POST I WANTED TO PUT ON OR END THIS WAY BUT WE ARE LEAVING!!!
