We have a managed to agree an extension with our meat supplier so that more people have a chance to get their orders in for Christmas.

Driffield & Wolds Weekly’s seventh annual charity calendar is on sale now from the usual outlets, again priced just £5 – for both A4 and A3 sizes – with every penny going to good local causes.

Our previous calendars have now raised close to £19,000 with the Driffield League of Friends, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Marie Curie, Macmillan Cancer Support, Dove House Hospice, Jack Stabler Memorial Trust, nearly 20 local junior sports groups and organisations, Riding for the Disabled, Middleton Recreation Club, Yorkshire Wolds Railway, DRUFC Old Folks Christmas Dinner, Driffield Lifeboat Guild, Wolds Creative, the Royal British Legion and more among those benefiting from the money.

Our calendar money for 2024 will again go towards charities in Driffield and the Wolds.

I have managed to get a final delivery of pumpkins in this morning. There are only 35 and when they are gone they are gone. Hats off to our supplier who has been picking them for us this morning so everyone has a chance to get their Halloween pumpkin carved 🎃👻👻🎃👻

We have received 2 deliveries of pumpkins today from our local supplier and we have sold every single one. 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
Tomorrow is the day but I’ve seen some people are still looking for pumpkins. I am trying to sort out a final delivery for tomorrow morning. Hopefully we can get some stock. I’ll post in the morning with what we manage to get. 👻👻👻
