Post Office services will NOT be available on Tuesday 30th July. Shop will be open as normal.

However Post Office services will run until 7pm on Monday 29th July to accommodate.

Afternoon

We have had 2 teenage lads in the shop today at around 3pm stealing, one of them is from the village (walking round in a canada goose jacket) and one of them isn’t from the village.

We have full names of the 2 lads, and CCTV footage, we will give these a chance to come and pay for what they stole by close of play today or we will be posting the footage and reporting to the police.

We are a small family run business and can’t afford for this type of thing to happen.
We have put so much effort into keeping this shop running, employing staff and trying to give the best customer service, things like this is just sickening.

Sorry for the negative post, it’s just really saddening

We are looking for someone to take up the role of a post office & shop assistant at St Bees.

- Part Time Basis - will include weekends and evenings and staff cover.

- Holidays included

- Applicants must be at least 18 years old

As part of a small team, you’ll have a passion for retail, helping make the store look good to ensure our customers come back time and again.

Duties will include serving customers in the convenience store and post office, restocking shelves, cashing up till, cleaning.

Skills:
1. Strong communication skills
2. Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
3. Positive, enthusiastic working attitude
4. Honesty and responsibility
5. Experience in retail sector would be an advantage though training will be provided
6. Till operation and cash handling
