Boon Millésime 2023 750ml

Millésime Boon Oude Schaarbeekse Krieik a delicate traditional fruit beer based on Belgian Cherries and lambic. Packed full of rich Schaarbeek cherries fermented with lambic beer that had already aged for 18 months in wooden barrels, using a total of 270 grams of cherries per litre. The resulting cherry lambic was then matured for another 6 months in oak casks and re-fermented in the bottle, this delicious beer can safely continue to age for several more years.

Initially aged in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in high quality Italian Marsala fortified wine casks. Imparting rich spiced fruit notes, balanced by its brown sugar caramel character.
