Hello everyone,
I would like to thank each and everyone for their help and support in pushing petition forward and sharing it . Without everyone's help it would nt have been possible to achieve 455 signatures.
Highways recommendations were supported by the Bradford south area committee in the meeting held on 26 January 2023 and it will be reviewed as part of future safe roads scheme in June .
Special thanks to Councillor Hazel Johnson who has guided and helped in the whole process.
Bradford South Committee has been really cooperative and understanding. It was a wonderful experience.

Attended the Bradford South Area Committee with Sonia from Patchett's Minimarket earlier tonight. She presented the petition signed by 455 residents requesting a safe place to cross the road near her shop on Halifax Road/Ford, and measures to make the road safer.
Highways recommendations were supported by the Committee and will be reviewed as part of the future Safe Roads scheme in June. Well done Sonia!

The section of the A647 from Ford Hill to Halifax Road is a notoriously busy road, along which drivers regularly speed, making it very dangerous for pedestrians of all ages, cyclists and other motor vehicle users alike. Hi all , it’s with great sadness to say that yesterday we were victims of thefton Thursday night at 21:30pm . The staff in store are okay.

It was done by 5 teenagers we only got a clear picture of one of there group.

We have put pictures / videos of the thief’s on this post.

We believe that this group of theifs did the same thing last week , it’s been posted on the queensbury face book group page .

We want queensbury to be a safer place , so we’re appealing to anyone who has any information about theses theifs to come forward.

If we don’t take no steps against them now it will give them more courage to commit serious crime in our community.

We want our shop and Queensbury to be safe for everyone.

Dear customers,

We would just like to share an update, after a wonderful time running Patchetts Minimarket where we were made very welcome and supported by all our customers through this journey, this has now come to an end, as we (Ramesh and Lydia) go onto new pastures.
