We love to help people choose their wine, whether it be for a weekend tipple or to pair with a meal! Our staff are always on hand to help, if you’ve got lots of wine knowledge or not much at all, we don’t judge! We like our customers to be able to enjoy the process of picking their wine, knowing that they are buying quality wine, something you may not always get in a supermarket.

International Pinot Noir Day 🍷

TEAM FAVOURITES 🙌🏼 - Izzy has chosen her top two for this week... Domaine Robert Goulley Irancy Pinot Noir - It's International Pinot Noir Day! To celebrate, Izzy has picked one of our higher end pinot noirs to highlight this week. Robert Goulley Irancy offers a fresh and intense nose, slightly spicy, dominated by red fruit. The mouth experiences a fresh attack of raspberry, cherry, and blackcurrant followed by fine tannic intensity and ending on a harmonious final touch. Potential ageing for a further 10 years. Try with game and red meats, dishes with rich tomato sauces or mature cheeses. Brockmans Gin - Brockmans recipe of aromatic botanicals are steeped in pure grain spirit for many hours to release natural oils and aromas. Traditional notes of gin are combined with refreshing citrus and aromatic wild berries. Bulgarian coriander brings a gingery orange top note, complementing soft blueberry and blackberry, all supported by Tuscan juniper berries. Bittersweet Valencian orange peel elongates the deeper tones for an intensely smooth finish.

We at Turton Wines are enjoying this well-deserved recognition for a grape that has unrivalled versatility and amazing breadth of possibility on the palate.
