Don't give up just yet
Keep them before God
I can't say this loud enough. Parents please pray over your children. Life is spiritual. A lot of things go on out there. Be sure your child is covered in prayer before sending them out everyday.
May God continue protecting our kids.
I saw this challenge and thought to share. It would be a great way to start a conversation about bible characters with your child.

My word for you as we start the week is: keep going, don't give up. Every step counts.
Shalom.
Engaging your children in activities that nurture their spiritual growth during the holidays can be both fun and rewarding. Here are some ideas to make this break one that counts:
1. Family Devotion Time: Dedicate a few minutes each day for family prayers and Bible readings. It's a wonderful way to start or end the day together, focusing on God’s word.
2. Bible Storytime: Make bedtime stories extra special by sharing engaging Bible stories. Our books 'God’s Word for Growing Hearts and Rosy's Zoo Adventure are filled with stories that teach valuable lessons.
3. Bible-Based Crafts: Create crafts that reflect Bible stories or virtues. Making a 'Fruit of the Spirit' tree or a prayer jar can be a fun, hands-on way to learn.
4. Virtual Bible School: Join our virtual Bible school summer camp where kids can learn about God through interactive lessons, songs, and activities. It’s a great way to stay connected and engaged from home.
5. Christian Movies and Shows: Spend screen time watching bible-based movies or shows. Channels like Holy Sprouts and Superbook offer great content that is both entertaining and educational.
6. Scripture Memorization: Challenge your kids to memorize a verse each week. Offer small rewards for their efforts and watch them get excited about learning God’s word.
7. Acts of Kindness: Encourage your children to perform simple acts of kindness, teaching them the joy of serving others. It could be as simple as helping a neighbor or writing a thank-you note.

My Journey to Raising Godly Kids🌟
The journey of raising godly children often starts as a thought, a hope, or a prayer. For me, it began as a deep desire to instill faith and values in my children.
I realized the importance of guiding my children in their spiritual journey, but I wasn’t sure where to start. The thought of raising godly kids felt overwhelming at first. But then I knew that the foundation of their character and faith had to be built at home.
Here is what I did:
1. Living by Example: I started by reflecting on my actions and words. I knew that to teach my children about faith, I had to live it out authentically. This meant showing kindness, forgiveness, and patience in everyday situations.
2. Creating Faith-Based Traditions: I began incorporating simple traditions into our daily routine, prayer before meals, reading Bible stories before bedtime, or celebrating religious holidays. These traditions became the cornerstone of our family’s faith journey.
3. Engaging with the Community: We found a church community that shared our values. Participating in church activities, Sunday school, and family events provide a supportive environment for my children to grow in their faith.
4. Finding Resources: I sought out books, devotionals, and educational materials that aligned with our faith. These resources helped me teach my children about God in a way that was engaging and age-appropriate.
5. Have Honest Conversations: We made it a point to talk about God openly. I encouraged my children to ask questions and express their thoughts. This open dialogue helped them develop a personal and deeper understanding of their faith.
6. Interactive Learning: We used creative methods to make learning about faith fun. From interactive Bible games to role-playing biblical stories, these activities made spiritual lessons memorable and enjoyable for my kids.
Over time, I have seen a beautiful transformation in my children. They began to embody the values we cheris

Do This Instead of That: Raising Kids Who Love and Serve God
1. Do This: Read the Bible together daily
Instead of: Only relying on Sunday School for their spiritual education
Why: Integrating daily Bible reading helps your child see faith as a part of everyday life, not just a Sunday activity.
2. Do This: Pray with your children regularly
Instead of: Assuming they know how to pray on their own
Why: Modeling prayer teaches them how to communicate with God and shows its importance in their daily routine.
3. Do This: Encourage them to serve others
Instead of: Focusing only on their achievements
Why: Serving others fosters a heart of compassion and helps them live out their faith in practical ways.
4. Do This: Demonstrate forgiveness
Instead of: Holding onto grudges or unresolved conflicts
Why:Teaching forgiveness helps your children understand God’s grace and how to extend it to others.
5. Do This: Worship together as a family
Instead of: Letting them see worship as just a church activity
Why: Family worship times can deepen their love for God and strengthen family bonds through shared faith experiences.
Remember, parenting with purpose means integrating God and the Bible into every aspect of life. Let’s raise a generation that loves and serves God wholeheartedly!
